Will the Aldi winch fit the geniune nissan bullbar on a D22?

As the title suggests, will it fit or is there some modification required?

Would it also be able to run off the standard battery or is a dual battery setup a must?

I don't see why not. The Aldi winch probably came out of the same factory as Ironman, Tigerz and other rebadged Chinese winches. They all use the same mount.

You will probably find that the bolts are too short. I had to get 5mm longer bolts for the bottom and 10mm longer for the top. Make sure you get the proper hi-tensile bolts for it. I also had to mount mine upside down, with the clutch handle facing the rear. It still does the job.

mate i fitted one about a month age to a factory steel bar no worries at all

I heard that they are made in the Warn factory too, don't know if its true or not though.
