Does anyone have any problems with the dump pipe rubbing the firewall under load? / how close does the dump come to the firewall?

By the looks of it they have used gasket glue and just wedged it between the pipe and the fire wall

So i took it back to the Exhaust place (mettams Mufflers in morley) and they are blaming it on the exhaust rubbing on the heat shield on the firewall i have had a look and there is no clearance at all. Any suggestions? it only happens under load I.E. taking off up hill.

I have MSA fit ok and look good, they have 3 back pack clip on straps and 1 velcro stap on each front seat. I found that they never quite fitted perfectly but good enough, maybe a bit tight around the seat bolster. The bottom section of the back seat was a bit tricky to fit.

Nah mate its a custom made one with heaps of clearance. I'm thinking that one of the welds has a leak in it so ill take it back when i get time :)

Hey guys i got a 3" exhaust put in about a week ago it sounds great but when under load and acceleration a loud noise comes up from around the front seat area. I have had a look at all the welds and they look ok. Does anyone know what that could mean.

I ended up going with mettams mufflers. 3inch with dump, high flow cat and no muffler $1000 all up with from what I can tell 1 small non mandrel bend at the end. Good service and it sounds great. Well worth it.

I have 16x8 on 0 offset with 265/75 they scrub bad. I stupidly let Perth 4x4 talk me into the 0 offset. I have cut back the metal in the tyre arch but still scrubs would a extra inch from a UCA help? Or do I need to go more nuts with a grinder and hammer?
