Yeah with mine on the 33's it would struggle a little to get going. I removed my front mudguards and had to 'massage' the rear inside of the guard a bit with a hammer. But once that was done no scrubbing :) I did have a 2" body lift aswell as a 2" suspension lift. You're runnig the same I take it?

Thanks guys, it was an awesome 4x4 just wasn't quite powerful enough... FatBoy the chip was quite impressive... Picked up a fair amount of torque and better throttle response, I didn't get a chance to tow with it so ca comment there. Bang for buck though I rekon it was great. Rusty I was...

Said goodbye to the old girl on Tuesday.... Was a bit sad to see it drive away after I'd put quite a bit of effort ad money into her. She's made way for something a little more powerful, it was struggling to tow the trailer which was shitting me to tears, I did buy the chip and it improved a...

Have word from the old boy that my chip express chip has arrived :) Unfortunately I'm only home for a day on Tuesday before flying out again. Will try to get it installed and take it for a drive to see how she goes! Can't wait!!! Michael

    Al's ride

Hi mate, very nice rig and great informative thread :) With the chip express, do you have any idea how it goes compared to say the chipit chip?? I'm in 2 minds which one to buy, your one seems really good quality and alot cheaper but from what I read most say chipit is the best out there...

Been a while sinc posting on here, probably because not much has changed with the Nav lately... Between working and travelling for mx races I don't get my time to get offroad during the winter :( Towed the new mx trailer down to Perth a few weeks ago for something to do. While I was there got a...

Got the snorkel fitted up Friday night... Took about 3 hours, I've learnt that I should read the instructions properly instead of skimming over them thinking I know what I'm doing... Woulda saved half an hour or so haha... Was pretty straight forward install, and very happy with the finish of...

The Nav is getting a makeover tonight. :) Snorkel arrived a while ago and I'll be fitting it up tonight with the help of a mate, we fitted his Safari snorkel to his Prado last night in 2.5hrs so hopefully this one goes as smoothly! Will give it a wash over the weekend and get some recent pics...

    UCA flex pics!!!

Alright, cheers for that.... I'll give it a go in the next few weeks then with the stock UCA's and see how it turns out. And that stuck pin was an absolute nightmare!!!! Haha

    UCA flex pics!!!

Thanks for that. Will the standard torsion bars be sufficient to wind up with aftermarket UCA's? I'm guessing I'll need to reindex them to get a bit more height?? I was trying to steer clear of reindexing my torsion bars if possible.

    UCA flex pics!!!

Do the UCA's give the car any lift when sitting on flat ground? I understand that they help with up/down travel and flex... But do they actually lift it at all? I want to lift mine another inch in the front, but don't want to spend $750 on the wrong thing haha. Cheers Michael

    International florist day

My missus asked if we could skip the fancy dinner at an overpriced restaurant crowded with people... instead we're going for a 4wd up a decent hill behind town with a bottle of wine and some snacks.... Perfect

Side steps are gone..... Thanks to a 4" angle grinder :) Need to tidy it up but that'll have to wait till Wednesday don't think the missus would appreciate me spending tomorrow arvo under the car... Snorkel is being order Wednesday (payday) through Garry from Nizzbits. I'll get some picture of...

    calcals build

Good stuff.... A work mate of mine had his D22 at a local shop getting sliders installed, and all they did was cut the sidesteps off. Said it saves plugging up the holes in the floor, which makes sense. Good luck Michael

    lift kit

ZORDO on here can supply a 2" body lift kit for around $400 from memory... It's fairly straight forward to fit yourself and he pretty much talked me through step by step how to do it over the phone. Michael

After another good outing this weekend just gone, I've got a small list of work I'll be doing over the next week or so on the Nav. - Side steps are coming off.. I'll be cutting them off so I don't have to fill any holes, eventually to be replaced with sliders. - Rear bar will be removed and...

Pics of your Nav in beautiful places.

Haha... The guy I was out there with said I couldn't get up there, naturally I had to prove him wrong. The other downhill photo is of the famous "Jump Up" Many smashed fual tanks and crushed side skirts happen there. Otherwise that's the typical terrain around here. Beautiful but very...
