What GPS are you using ?

We do the exact same thing as you. The 2 60cx's that we have are getting a little bit dated now compared to some other similar units we have seen. But ours is still going strong! Best thing is, we don't get lost........to often.....

Was sitting back the other day thinking: What would you say, your greatest outback achievements while travelling this great big land are? For us: -Cape York -Fraser Island -Simpson Desert Misc: Not having to be winched or recovered out. Puncturing more than 2 tyres on a single trip Using...

    Nissan Warranty and Loan cars

I have had one previously due to a service, but this time it is under warranty. (Different Dealer) I've just been receiving the usual shrug 'there's nothing we can do' They also told me that Nissan will not cover a loan car until the parts needed under warranty are overseas. So if the warranty...

Hi there! I'm Wondering if anyone knows a location of the standard Nissan New car warranty? The one with all the technical lingo. I have mine in under new car warranty and wish to see if i am eligible for a loan car. Cheers!

    Extra Leaf in 2012 D22 - Travelling

Yeah had not a single problem with them. Just take it easy and don't over do it. Over time they are going to need to be replaced as i really don't expect them to last too long. Was looking at Toughdog setup, interesting that you have had issues with them.... The cape is as easy or as hard as...

    Extra Leaf in 2012 D22 - Travelling

Regarding Rear suspension on the 2012 D22 We have been doing quite a bit of travelling in the last year. Ute has Canopy and steel roof racks loaded with camping gear. Something that I have noticed is that when we have the back of the car fully loaded (Guessing 500 - 750KG's) the rear of the car...

    Rear Step woes. (2009+)

Cheers guys, Read through the thread with Scotty's work. Some serious barwork happening in there! I might PM him regarding what i'm after, i'm thinking a little less.... big. Something that is a bit smaller. I can see a small issue with modifying the tow bar as a whole. A suit somewhere would...

    Rear Step woes. (2009+)

I have been doing a bit of lurking and searching on this forum recently regarding the rear step on the D22 Navara. Here’s my story: Picked up the Brand new 2012 D22 Navara from the dealer in Melboune in March, stuff up, after stuff up I finally had all the accessories on the vehicle. One of...

Running power to the rear, how did you do it.

I ended up running the cable for my Fridge and lightning down the passenger chassis rail in corrugated conduit. It pops out just near the exhaust from the turbo. Obviously into the fuse for the line. As for appearing in the tub, jumps out of the rail near the Rear Passenger wheel and slips up a...

    door seals for water crossings

If i can give any word of advice after picking up some water in Nolans Brook, Around the gearstick is where most of my water came in, I'm convinced that some more came from around the mounts for the side steps (holes massive in the Jap built cars) I was stationary for about 4 seconds, after...

wtf. why did nissan use a cold chiesel for the side step holes in the floor

Pulled my carpet up also, and found the cold chisel style holes. Jan 2012 Jap built. Completely pathetic, seriously. I think this is where the water has been coming up over the last few creek crossings! Thanks Nissan......

Second Battery tray for a 2012 (Jap)

Sure does mate, you can see it in the second pic, the black thing in the top right hand corner. The D23RT battery from Century is the one i have in there and there is still plenty of room either side for a larger one if you wanted.
