Howdy all . I lent my ute to my bosses son who owns a hilux about 18 months old . Of course i get the compulsory " i hope no one sees me in a Nissan" when he got back his comment was "what have you done to that thing i carnt believe how much power that thing has got ".

Cummins , Caterpillar and Detroit all have the probes after the turbo, usually 100-150mm . So thats good enough for me . I have never seen a truck or earthmoving machine engine with the probe in the manifold .

i used to get about 550 till i put a 3inch exhuast on . its now up around 700. i can now get over 500 with camper trailer on .

you fail to mention the lug that has to be cut off the thermo fan ,the grill support bracket has to be cut off . also the washer bottle neck has to be cut off (MUSLIMS WILL LOVE THIS). you have to also cut into the back of the grill to make room for the pipe . not to mention being supplied with...

i no im not the smartest cookie in the jar but what does the intercooler have to do with the before and after turbo temps.

unloaded it after our trip to the Cape, Weipa, Karumba 9000ks . only breakdown was when the hose supplied by a frontmount intercooler supplier which i said was too small came off intake manifold even with upgraded clamps .
