and do manuals have a neutral switch? I'm more inclined to think it's sucking air inside the tank.

So Wtf is the neutral switch and where do I find it?

No tweak, engine isn't dying, it's just losing power and then picking up again. It feels like a fuel issue or air in the injection system.
