Power windows auto up and down

OK this one is in the manual (section 8)..if you can be bothered reading it!

If your auto window up and down is not working do this..

Start with window full up, press the power window button down fully until the window gets to the bottom.

Press and hold the switch fully up until the window gets to the top, and hold the switch up for an additional 5 seconds.

Reset done, now your auto up and down works!

FANTASTIC... I was just about to make a thread on why my button stopped working in the "Auto Up" mode.

I had a strange one the other day when my rear passenger window would not go up .Seems my little dog must have had her foot on it & lowered it.
Then when I got fuel & turned car off, then turned ignition on and all was OK.
So it seems they reset!!!

I had this problem a 6 months back. It turned out the be a busted switch

Mine needs resetting anytime I dont close them properly when I lock the truck. Whish is often as I have visors so usually leave the window down an inch or so, Such is life

Aussie sounds like you may need a new switch......

Nah its not the switch its done it since new and we tried a switch back in the day. If I close them properly when I lock it no worries .Its only when I dont close it all the way
