Feb 25th there's a rally in Byfield State Forest. Shouldn't bother you if you're just going to Five Rocks, but don't expect to be allowed off the main roads as you pass through.

cheers.

Unfortunately even though i'm from up here i can't go that weekend. Am actually going to be in gladstone For the weekend to do QFRS training

Awesome should be a good day, at the moment the plan is to meet at the mount larcom servo at 7:30am or so, let me know if anyone cant meet then

Hey! I'll be joining the convoy from the rockhampton end, so if we can have a second meetin point up there? (breakfast at maccas anyone?)

Guys,

I won't be coming as I'll be competing in the Rally. But, if you stick to the tracks on the right hand side of the main road in Byfield, the rally doesn't go there! So head along Pistol gap road, up to the fire tower, Corbet's landing or anything North of the Forestry Office and you won't have any issues.

Of course, if you see a little Red/Orange/White Escort Rallycar be sure to wave!:hello:

I'm heading to Tannum school for a wheel tonight if anyone wants to come and check out the tracks. Give me a call or text me on 0401308674 if you wanna come along

Yeah it was pretty good, really nice lightning storm came across aswell.

Saturday is still a go. 7:30am at Mt Larcom servo.

If anyone is going to be a bit late just text me on 0401308674

Saturday should be good for ya's. Have had enough rain up here that the tracks should be pretty hard. Only issue possible would be a bit of a high level in the creeks from the rain, but i think with how it's been it would only be flash flooding in the creeks.

hahaha It's not the depth I'd worry about, more the flow. Can't see it being an issue though, should just make it more fun.
