HELP ! Terrano transfer case

hi everyone.
I
picked up a 92 terrano auto. (D20 I believe)
?The transfer cas recently developed some serious noises.
so I need some options.
rebuild ? recommendations, costs?

anyone have a spare to sell?

interchangability with pathfinders?

Terranos of that year are D21 also. From around 1997 they went to r20 model code.
Yours shares running hardware with d21 Navara's so parts are common.

They have two main different gearboxes, 4cyl and 6cyl, i belive the transfers are different, so just find one with the same gbox as yours.
if your unsure of your gearbox model, there written on the build plate under transaxle. build plates in your engine bay near the brake master, on the firewall.
