Isn't road side assist just the RACV,NRMA RACQ or the like in your state therefore not actually a nissan mechanic? I know down here its just RACV which used be the Mazda dealer
 
Took it to Nissan, all fixed, they replaced the faulty sensors, I was told it is a common problem.
 
Interesting, not sure too many here have had sensors replaced to fix the oil light problem, most just hold their tongues on a different angle, slam the rear passenger door and dance the jig but who knows new "common problems" come up every day. Glad it's fixed.
 
Yes, either the sensor or the sensor needs resetting. (Ign on, ign off, lock vehicle from the outside, wait 5 mins and go back again)
It's the same process for resetting the EGR valve to its zero value btw.
