I use the yellow plastic Diesel jerrys and have had no issues, the old man has used them for awhile and no complaints. no rust though the old metals ones, dad had them for 12 years before they started to rust.

The rear bar and carriers have beaten the corrugations to the tip and back. Took a couple of hits and all is still good

here is my rocker bar ready to be fitted

My question is. Has anyone fitted a jack bar to a bodylifted vehicle? I only have 30mm body lift and really do like the jack bar. I emailed mcc about modifying and it can't be modified to suit bodylift cause of the angle bar stopping it moving upwards.

I understand there would be a gap but how much of a gap and would a simple beaver plate fix the gap in the rear?

It's gonna cost me $1000+ to get a custom made rear bar without a tow hitch.

Fitted to with a 30mm body lift. i have checker plate to go in the gap.

quality of steel not quite as good as std towbar, but still rated to 3t

Its a shame the towbar sits so low on these.

If the tow hitch was where the number plate is and the number plate was to one side it would make a very good bar.

There's a knockoff version on ebay for a hilux for $480, I'd almost consider buying it, chopping it up to suit my bodylift and cutting the whole bottom tow hitch section off and moving it higher and relocating the number plate.
