Hi all just wondering if anyone has any insight to my problems.
I recently installed a new rh door mirror with blinker onto my STX 2011 dual cab. I cut the old cables ( I know this was not wise) and mounted the new mirror as I was in a rush and worried about pulling the door trim off and swapping the plugs later.
When I did swap the plugs I have blinker on mirror working and the motor turns the mirror but I have no interior lights and the dash shows the trailor connected lights.
I'm wondering if I have caused a burn in the bmu by cutting the cables or if the new plug is missing the cables from the old plug. I didn't keep it to compare.
I have checked all the small fuses and have reset the system by taking the neutral off the battery and turned the ignition on.
Everything else is working fine. Any insight greatly appreciated.
