well thank you - there is also a 2005 nissan pulsar in there somewhere also. I have bought them all from the same dealer on the sunshine coast. I do my price research, drop a thousand or two and they beat it every time. They have even done warranty repairs for me on x-trails with 120,000 klms on them - not complaining.

Great to see another Mini panelvan owner, I tried to turn mine into a ute, total disaster, ended up giving it to Simsmetal. Was always fun trying to get the girls in the back!!

Yeah great little cars. From memory mine was a 4 speed on the floor with I think 10inch wheels and cheese cutter tyres. 1.1 ltr motor. Not much power but the handling was second to none.

Had a few but my favourite would have been my mk patrol TD shortie. I am surprised at how much deadly dave's little beacon reminds me of it. even the same squeaky clutch lol

Second Car. Subaru Sherpa, cheap to run car when I was 19. Parted it as there rare. 4L/100km's.
Third car. Subaru Fiori, inline 4 800cc of sheer power. 4L/100km's.
Forth car. Nissan Pintara TRX, that thing was a great car. Sold it to my brother who treats cars like crap and has gone down hill big time.
Current car/4wd. 2006 D22 STR, best car of the lot.

I also have this ke20 that i'm still deciding whether or not to build. Will take alot of time and money if I do it. Plans are to put a ca18det into her but still undecided.
I also have a s13 that i spent about 6 months or so building with a rebuilt sr20 and alot of parts. Was going to be a track only car but i'm putting all my money into my house at the moment..

reviving and old thread (searched before starting a new one)
here are my last 3 cars from oldest to newest,
1st was a 81 MY subaru wagon which was my old mans
27'' BFG allterrains twin carb 2in sus and body lift was fun as but rust was killing it so it was parted out and made way for the next one.
second was my fav and still miss the fun times had in this car
85 Subaru RX turbo, 27'' super tippers 1.8ltr fuel injected turbo intercooled lowlow range lsd 2in sus and bodylift rear was fun as offraod and blew so many cars off at the lights it wasnt funny with a WTF look on their face!
and the last one was a 89 Subaru Liberty wagon with a RS turbo 2.0ltr engine (wrx) 27'' a/t's 2in sus and body lift, was a great tourer wasnt as good offroad as the other but still fun none the less, sold it when we got the nav, went to townsville.

I loved driving that crown it was the most comfortable car i have ever been in. you could go over a grid and a k down the road you would still be bouncing up and down from the grid lol

That's all ive owned and all cars are still running. When I sold them they were all in perfect condition apart from the Suzuki Sierra. Now they are run down and starting to show there age. Mazda BT is still in alright condition but has few dints and doesn't get serviced aswell as it should
