Looking for some advice, my UHF antenna broke the other day (whilst I was washing my car), is this repairable (with some form of conductive glue or electrical tape)? Or do I just need to bite the bullet and get a new antenna.

If so, any recommendations on where/what sort of antenna to get?

that's a good break.
better to just buy a new one. I've got a 6db GME, does a good job but depends on what you are looking for.

Looks like the copper sheath that runs up the shaft has severed off, probably better to replace it, if the ground inderpendent loading coil it attaches to is ok a 6db replacement is around 20-30 dollars.

I had the same thing mate. Bought a GME replacement from local opposite lock, just the "whip" or whatever these tech jockeys call it was $39 from memory, but much better than forking out for a whole new $100+ job.
