Ive got nissan jack and accessories bag ,tool spanner pouch, socket set ,compressor, recoverary bag, fishing knife set ,block of wood for jack and tyre lever at the moment .

need to get a fire extinguisher ,any ideas what size ?also the first aid kit and a new roll of duct tape:

Standard nissan jack and those useless tools that you need to make the jack work.

Not likely to put anything else behind there until the young fella doesnt need a booster seat anymore. there is plenty of room in the tub for all the crap that i carry around all the time.

BUT
I love some of the ideas you guys have come up with. I'll file those little tit bits away for future reference.

Stick all your parking tickets and porno mags behind the seat Woody, it will save the missus finding them

Nissan jack and accessories, camp stretcher, tow ball + tongue, snatch strap + bowshackle, small pillow + blanket, small tool kit (pliers, side cutters, tie wire, rags, race tape, screw drivers, zip ties)

No but the F100 my old neighbour lost in the black Saturday fires had a hell of a collection of pornos behind the seat. The only thing that stopped the 22 and the 30/06 from being in there was that the ute hadn't gone anywhere for about 18 months and the collections were in the ACCO.

The funniest thing we every got away with from something in behind the seat of that Effy was talking a bottle shop attendant into swapping a warm 6 pack for a cold 6 pack. The warm one had been behind the seat for nearly 12 months and was only left there because we forgot about it. Mind you 6 coldies didn't even get us back home.

Lol, didn't you dink them when you got home or use were both passengers I hope.

Dave.

$30 fire extinguisher from SCA / Repco or Autobarns with mounting bracket will fit neatly just in front of passenger seat and is readily accessible. Takes 3 mins to fit with 2 self drilling screws.
I'll go get you a pic....back in a minute.

It's a must if you live in Scumbury. :sarcastic:

Yep useful on the carjackers in the Westide.
As for the local pyro's and vandals - please do your best, I'll even provide the accelerant and matches!

Ahhh wondered if someone was going to ask that question.
I installed a 1000 watt inverter, an electronic 11 volt trip switch and various other odds and ends behind the back seat. The inverter came from Jaycar and the trip switch came from Jayco. Went into the local gas supplier in Wynnum and he built up the HD cables that I had the measurements for. Zip-tied them all in place and voila! 240 volts!
the #2 battery will need to be replaced with a CCA one soon and maybe a #3 in the tray. The 04 Navara is getting better ha ha

I will have to look into some of these ideas once I get the kids seats out (about 4 yrs away!). Until then just the jack and nissan tool bag. Too much effort with kids seats to get easy regular access.

I'm with Nathan on the access. The back seat of the dual cab is loaded with our gear and it is very difficult to get behind the seat to anything there, so it only stores stocks of spares, like tissues, toilet paper, freezer and shopping bags and similar around town stuff.

The actual Nav tools are in one of the tool boxes in the tub where I can access them easily when we are loaded up.
