wipers not working

First the fuse blew.
Replaced fuse and they worked occasionally on their own when i hit bumps on road and washer squirted spurts at windscreen, a quick play with the switch or pulling fuse was required to stop them.

I pulled switch apart from steering column, inspected it, decided because its a circuit board its a bit technical for me,reinstalled it and it seemed fine for a short while.
I put a test light across washer motor plug and no light on at motor when switch pulled.

I am thinking it is switch but does anyone know if there is a relay to check first or anyone else had this problem.

Cant see a relay in the diagrams.

Check for shorts, if fine. Replace the switch.

It has blown another fuse,I replaced it and everything is working as it should.
So Ill see how long this one lasts.
I guess there is a short somewhere ,could be fun trying to find it.
