Agree with the filter. I used a different mechanic as it needed a service quickly, and they used a non genuine filter. I then had the same noise you are describing. Took back to normal mechanic who replaced oily and filter as reccomended and noise went away immediately.

Sorry to hear. Might be an idea to throw up your location and also what it is you are qualified at in the construction industry. Someone reading might need some work done, or know of someone hiring. Worth a try.

Mate I have a baby capsule and a toddler seat in the D40 and it works a treat. I have a canopy which fits everything needed. Great family car in my opinion with the added bonus of being able to hit the beach.

2010 st d40 doesn't come with child restraints. Confirms it in vehicle manual. There is a bar that can be bolted in along the back which restraints are then fitted to, which requires engineering. Costs about 300.00
