    D40 Fuel Economy

I have a 2012 140kw auto, with canopy and steel bar. I get 17 to 18 per 100 towing the van which is 2.2 tonnes. I get around 11 around town, with very short trips to work. I get around 9 on a trip when unloaded. I'd love the towing figure to be a bit lower, but it is what it is...

A BIG thankyou to John at Zordo's.

I started the job about 8am and was finished by 4pm. That was for front and rear. I had a 2.5 hour delay in the morning for the struts to get built. I think I jacked the rear up just after 12. I had the alignment done the next morning. The price all up was around $1600.00 inc alignment.

    UCA Advice

I don't think a missing sway bar link is going to change your alignment, there are a lot of fellas on here that remove the sway bar altogether. Someone please correct me if i am wrong though. I would be asking more questions about the "Wonky" sway bar, is it bent? Connecting the sway bar...

A BIG thankyou to John at Zordo's.

I removed the struts myself, it is really easy and took only 1/2 hr. Then i took the lot to my local tyrepower who charged me $44 to disassemble the old ones and build the new ones for me. Silvernavman that was the height gain from my saggy 1 year old springs. I will find out about the camber...

A BIG thankyou to John at Zordo's.

Just wanted to do a quick thank-you to John for all his advice and a great price on a HD suspension setup for by 2012 D40 ST. I have a steel bar with lights and a canopy and the stock suspension was SHITE, it had dropped about 40mm to 50mm all round. I ended up importing Bilstein 5100...

    2013 D40 ST 4x4 Pricing

I just paid 41k for an Altitude Blue ST Auto with Tow Bar, tonneau cover and Carpet mats. Took 3 dealers and a lot of back and forth to get it down that low though.

    Opinions on upgrade requested.

At the risk of starting a 22 v 40 debate. I currently own a D22, it has around 40,000km on it. It has been a fantastic car so far and i have no issues with it. I originally bought it intending to do some more spirited four wheel driving (and because a D40 was out of my price range back then)...

    2010 D22 Dual Battery Setup

I did the same as Bods. Disconnected the positive feed to the second battery, covered up the end and cable tied it out of the way. I then ran a cable around the top of the firewall with a redarc installed on the top of the wheel arch behind the first battery. I now run a feed wire to a...
