Dont forget to take the BALL off first, then put the h/d rated shakle through the tow ball hole.

Also, play it safe and put a couple of blankets on the back of the ute and cardboard, use plenty of gaffa tape to hold it in place in case the wrong part of the rope or tree lets go ... otherwise OUCH to the back of the UTE.

I know nothing about chain. Where does one get it, what type and how much?

My budget and timeframe are both tight. Am driving back to WA on Sunday and have just paid for a removal.
