Hey Bart, I think you might of needed to be a little more diagonal to the dirt mound to get her on the bump stops.
The ute is looking good, i like the what you have done to the standard lights they look awesome.

That colour still looks good i reckon, but i could be a little bias :dontknow:

yeah i could have gone further up but i just went up till i thought it would be a decent photo. but forgot to check any bumpstop clearances on either front or rear. but hopefully it can flex up a bit more then this.
haha yeah i like the colour to as there arent as many of the copper coloured navs around well not locally anyways.

thanks nathan. yeah i made a diy build for the lights. can be done on any headlights.

also i will try remember where i have the photos of where i was going to run the pipework for that xr6 front mount and then inbox you with how.

Hmmm not much going on with the nav since last time, ive been very slack on month long xmas shutdown from work. I bought a dr air pro flow 150L/min air compressor for the nav, fixed up the wiring for my led canopy light. I rerouted my uhf coax cable down along the firewall instead of going across the front, ended up with alot more slack so i could pull some through up near the roof console, also had a go with my older brother at fixing my stuffed uhf aerial cable, seems to be working a bit better but gotta try it out a bit more. Been down to rainbow beach on the sand once and i rekon the clutch is on its way out. Went out for a trek through the bush today with some mates nothing to major bit of mud bit of ruts and inclines and that but yeah. I rekon the nav needs a body lift and raise the bumpersfor better approach/departure angles

Yeah still here haha. Yeah the exhaust is going good, wouldnt mind it a lil louder though. Its a bit louder since the muffler freed itself up a lil after about the first 2-3weeks. I need to pull my finger out and get the top mount egr and catch can done. Hmmm yeah i duno theres just been some stuff i havent wanted to attenpt cause i rekon i will definately hit on. And had a few towbar thuds every now and again, thinking about body lift then a dx towbar.

Spent about 4-5hours yesterday cleaning the nav up (minus armor-all the dash etc). Came up pretty clean. Hadnt polished it since before i put the snorkel on which was about april last year :S

Lil bit of an update about both my rig and my current employment. Will be relocating up to emerald first tuesdy of april. Got a job in capella working for a engineering mob up there. So in the midst of packing up ready for the big move.

As for the nav. I bought a 2.5x2m Kalahari side awning,a 1m alled led camp light to hang under the awning for camping, a set of roo systems highlift jack mounts for my rook racks, some drl lights for under the headlights, installed another led strip in the canopy but on the back flip up window to provide light down on the ground behind the nav and got a set of front and rear sandgrabba matts as my genuine nissan rubber mats were really showing their age. Also finished my dual battery tray. Just need a battery now.

Also a few weekends ago went 4byin with some mates. Had a great time watchig these to 90s series hiluxes getting stuck more often then not and one of the luxes copped a recovery point through his canopy window when the other lux tried to snatchy him out from behind in reverse. But was a good run didnt get stuck or break anything.

Anyways heres a couple of pics.

So me and the misso have moved to emerald, went out to fairbairn dam today before first day at the new job tomorrow, got to setup up the awning and actually use it. Been a bit slack on the mods for the navara, as we just bought the missus a newer car. Hopefully after a few weeks of work i should be able to sink some more hard earned into the navara.

Well nothig real exciting to update on the nav. Got a flat tyre (f@cked) on the way to work thursday morning, so had to put the standard alloys back on, so that i got a spare tyre, so i painted them black before i did turned out alright. Now i gotta seriously look into new tyres, but i cant decide on size and type. The nav doesnt look as cool now with the smaller road terrains back on though :( . Then the battery decided it had had enough aswell. Anyways just a pic of 2 of the tears in the sidewall. Not sure where the original puncture came from but the tyre is rooted none the less.

rims look good bart!, i think the 265/75/16 is the best size for these trucks, i know plenty run 285's but IMHO they are too big, the gearing just isnt suited to them for a start and then you need to worry about scrubbing and stuff.

if you want muddies you cant go past the KM2's!!

also it looking bloody filthy mate! time for a wash!

Yeah id love 285/65s but i rekon with driving in excess of 100kms a day to get to and from work it might not help the fuel usage any. But yeah then theres also the scrubbing. Im guna look into a bodylift but even then 285s might still scrub. So i rekon 265/75s will do. Just not sure what brand. How are the km2s for road noise? I was looking at bighorn 764s but havent heard much about them.

Hahah yeah it is pretty filthy at the moment.
