my mates 91 terrano does like 3500RPM at 110km/h, was pretty shocked!

Yeah the diff ratios can be pretty crappy, given that a big Chevy Silverado will run 3.9s (or 3.7s!) on bigger tyres... And yet these have 4.6 or 4.88.

That's how mines gonna look when she's done, if u cut it from front pillar back that is. Thinking I might do an alloy canopy, maybe checker plate powder coated black or same colour as the ute. I saw one today on a d40 and it looked brilliant, doors on the sides aswell as back with locks. Wish I could weld , I'd do it myself!
eBay MIGs are getting pretty cheap..............

Does any one know if i can interchange the manual front hubs from my ute to the Terrano. Both are R180 diffs with 4.6 gears...
Yeah you should be able to, regardless of ratio. You can also buy aftermarket manual hubs.
The Terrano looks good.

my mates 91, i've done a lot of work to it... putting on his dodgy ebay bar, uhf wiring, intake setup, suspension, cv's, lights, etc
i had fun replacing these, 1st time 4wding with the new lift the left side went. 2nd time 4wding with the new lift the right side went, never changing them again, lol

The terrano has a 2" lift (rear coils, shocks and torsion bars) but as stock was so sagged he got nearly 4" haha. It's running 31x10.5 Cooper at's.
Dion, got it from allan's cv joints. $175 each or $450 fitted. And that's my skinny hairy leg haha. After being hunched over all those hours fixing it I was stuffed and just fell asleep on the ground lol
Dave, you're getting old And blind haha. Guess you can't see the compressor wires
don't know what you mean about brake issues? My cruiser stops on a dime as well as 3 ton can haha, locks up easy.
