Manual Hubs from a 90 model Pathfinder fitted straight on. Took about 1/2 hour for complete job. The Diff I got was not an LSD, so still looking for a real cheap locker to fit the H223. And now I have a spare pair of diffs the same ratio as it is currently running.

I have had a strange tick/click type noise in the front of my car, when turning right only, for some time now. Have looked a few times and fiddled around trying to find it but never had any luck. I walked bye the Terrano last night and kicked the rhf tyre as it looked a little deflated, and I heard the noise. Turns out to be a loose wheel bearing. Guess what I am doing this weekend ?

so how does it go with the lokka ?

Have not really had a chance to "really" try it out yet.. Having said that it drives really well when in 4WD and hubs locked. Pulls like a "front wheel drive with grunt" when under load, but thats to be expected. Lifts a wheel and simply continues on with no hesitation, once again as expected. Overall I would suggest its great value at under $500.

Sounds good I've been considering getting one for mine.
I used to have a 200+ hp colt so know how the steering "pull"
will feel.
Let us know how it performs once you give it a really good work out.
Thanks

Just fitted some 31X10.5 tyres on 15x8 rims with - 24 offset. Did not scrub on this little adventure but I will be investing in some flexy flares real soon...

So the tyres I got with the steel rims were ok tread BUT!!. 2 were not round any more, as they were off the front of a pootrol with flogged out steering so they had bad scollaps all the way round. VIBRATION city at 100kmh.
Just fitted 2 Roadstone (Nexan) Rodian MT's for $290.00 fitted. Huge improvement, Quite, Good in the wet, probably cause they are soft as shit but I would be lucky to do 10 000 kms a year. 2 more in a couple of weeks when the Tax man coughs up.
They should last untill I get the 3" body lift. Calmini control arms, Rock crawler gears. Rear locker and 33's:jackoff: Oops sorry. Got a bit over excited

Picked up a compressor real cheap off E bay. I got a unit from an ex RACV service van. 2 X Thomas (big red) air compressors, pressure switch, safety valve, 2 X gauges and regulator, all mounted on a 30 odd litre tank for $150. Took one compressor, pressure switch and safety valve and fitted them all together then mounted it in the back of the wagon. Chucked in an old curly hose and a tyre inflater I had kicking around and all done. Still got a complete spare compressor on the shelf as well... Big smile....

I have just done some quick sums. The complete outfit above has cost me under 10K. Planned improvements include changing hubs to 6 stud so I dont need a trailer spare as well, Drawbar tool box, water tank and pump on the trailer. Bar, winch and second battery on the terrano..

G'day mate your flexi flares turned out well.
how's the lokka going now you've had it in for awhile ?
