I've seen no problem with it so far and wouldn't hesitate to do it again, just confused me a bit when I heard what this mechanic said. for any1 else looking at doing this mod, I followed what another member (cant remember wot thread it is in) did and just bought a stainless steel tank water sign...

hey guys, so the YD25 snorkel on a 2006 d22... everything should still go smooth as with getting the 80 series airbox to line up to the snorkel with out moding it?

I bought one of those caliber cans, just cause I was too lazy to do the 'make it ur self' version out of pvc and stuff. modified it a bit so that I could put a pot scrubber in it to help it filter out the finer stuff. nothing gone wrong yet but it is still early days. might check it and post...
