Don't know if the mechanic has got a dodgey batch of serpentine belts or what the deal is, but this is about the third that has gone in in about 18 months. I can't see how else they would be shredding along the length of the belt, there is nothing for them to rub against. Anyone?

Had the engine fault light, ABS light, 4WD light come on, speedo stopped working and the 4WD indicator light disappear. Took it to Nissan who read the fault codes and came up with 'actuator assembly anti stak' come up. Thank goodness its on $5 400 for a new unit!!!!!!!!!! Anyone else had this...

Has anyone flushed their power steering fluid? I think I need to change mine out, looks grotty and its not as responsive, but not sure how to go about it. Without buying the manual, anyone got any tips?

Sheared two wheel studs off last week and apparently there are washers behind the rim that mates onto the surface of the hub. Two had failed and gave the tyre some free play which snapped the bolts off. Anyone heard of this happening?

When priming with the priming bulb, should it stay hard? When I squeeze and leave it for about a minute, the bulb goes soft again. Shouldn't it stay hard?

I got a price on a fuel filter for an '08 diesel D40 today, one place said $37, another said $103. Any ideas why the big difference? Next, I think air could be leaking in through the priming bulb, any ideas how much I can expect to pay for one?

Has anyone ever built a custom canopy suitable for canvas cover for a D40?
