nice one! Exedy dont stock that clutch in uk,how much reckon cost to ship one from oz to uk???. One on uk ebay is valeo friction plate,nissan cover,nsk bearing dont fill me with confidence! Are patrol clutches the same?

ah the heady days of blowing the front discs out with the airline before changing the pads!!

12k ouch,but gues nissan are quoting for head,cam,alves,chain/sprockets/tensioners etc,mabe pistons,oil,antifreeze,gaskets etc + there labour all because they used knicker elastic for a timming chain,on www.nissan-navara.net few of the v6 tdis going tits up at low milage!

nissan in uk have extended the warranty on the timming chain,subject to usual imaculate service history,and all done on the quiet! i believe the remedy kit is d22 yd2.5 duplex chain and vac pump

from what i gather of the uk site nissan-navara.net the "upgraded" timing chain is from a 2.5 d22 engine and you need the vac pump for the brakes to get the double row cog/gear

double kit is from d22 2.5 motor u need brake vac pump,its all over the uk nissan forum (www.nissan-navara.net) aswell as nissan extending the warranty,but your gonna have to be spot on with that history coz nissan slipery than barrell full of greased eels! hopefully if nissan have done this for...

d22 lemon you should read the uk forum www.nissan-navra.net plenty along same lines as your thread with nissan sticking two fingers up at them!

two of my little allen bolts had fallen out not so long back so defo check them!

plenty on www.nissan-navara.net the uk sister site to here,d40s and limp home very common on there,could be a valve on back pump,something on the fuel rail or even stretched cam chain,good luck hope its something silly/cheap for you!

do u guys get the d40 fitted with a dual mass flywheel,if you do thatll be the problem they dont like any heavy use an knacker up easily,some people change back to solid flywheel/normal clutch set up but others wory about deviating away from what nissan fitted so down to personal choice!

you should check out the d40 section on wwwnissan-navara.net stretchin cam chains,limp home isues with fuel valves on pump,early ones had oil seal probs on half shafts,bubling paint on roof all on the 2.5tdi engine which id asume youd get aswell even though you guys may get it in a d22 shell?
