Also i forgot to mention that the lift fitted is to suit a bullbar which is getting fitted today. So the front will drop a bit and give more clearance on the upper control arm

The front already looks lower?
If your putting a bull bar on you might need spacers in the front to make the car level.

Im not sure on the height difference its supposed to be a 40mm dobinson lift.

It rides so much better then stock. Has got rid of the body roll and seems firmer in cornering which i like. Cant go any bigger without replacing the front upper control arms

If you read my quote I said the Dobinson kit OR the superior engineering kit they are developing that is 3'. Nothing about the Dobinson kit being 3'

So how is the suspension going? Settled in now?

Will be doing this kit before Xmas.

54mm in the front is a good gain. Any issues with the UCAs hiting on strut tower? Did you need offset bushes to get correct alignment? Or a panhard rod? Cheers.

Nope we did not need any of that mate. It has settled now and I am guessing it will be around the 51mm on the front and about 48mm on the rear.

Nothing hitting the strut towers and i have taken it on some fairly rough trails and so far so good.

Sammy,

Any pics of the whole car so we can see the overall result? :)

Why did you end up with Dobinson instead of the Fulcrum kit?

Went the Dobinsons cause the clown at Fulcrum never rang me back and stuffed me around.

Wanted them fitted to go away at Xmas and obviously he didn't need the money.

Sure here is the truck:

Front shouldn't be lifted level as you need the rake for handling/steering/braking performance due to weight balance onto the front, and means the back doesn't sag below the front when weight is put in.

Yeah we carry a fair bit of load quite often so dont want it sagging haha! Level does look lots better though, specially gives a good advantage in approach angle. Yeah thats just what we have been told by suspension specialists, so it's all we got to go off, never tried anything different hahaha, each their own definitely.
