After reading this I've made up my mind, track mount it is.
I like the whisper by pro rack.

I've always been a bit wary of accessories that go under door rubbers etc, the sealing has to be compromised. Was also a bit scared of riveting a track to the roof, but as long as the holes are fully painted and sealed, rust and leaks just should not happen.
