Okay so when i put the new uca on i undid the steering shaft to take the bolt out when i did this the steering shaft spun a bit. I thought i put it back right but if i didn't would this cause the problem i have. Cheers

my 2012 2.5 d40 does this aswell, goes from 20 odd psi to -13 every now and then, mostly in between gear changes from 5th to 6th and a few day's ago it went into limp mode whilst going up a hill in 5th and i wasn't really pushing it just cruising.

yep defenantly don't get the manual my brothers friend has just done a gearbox and it hasn't had its 10k service yet, and this is in the latest mk11 ranger

ford rangers are also made in thialand for asia pacific and on the px ranger forum they seem to be experiencing a lot of manual gearbox issues at very low k's

same as d22 the pathfinder and titan and posably the armada share the same as the d40

i had to relocate and reweld an abs mount on the passenger side of mine when i lifted it 3 inch's because it was to high, and unhook off the top mount on both the rear abs lines because they were stretched to the max.

i have just done this in one of mine 95k on the clock never towed anything and it was a couple of broken teeth on one of the side gears and a worn pinion bearing. the crown wheel and pinion were fine.

i have been monitoring my 2012 d40 manual st the last couple of weeks and i'm averaging 10.3 to 10 .5 and have been carrying a constant 280kgs in the tub and i run 33's and everything else listed in my signiture, so it seems nissan has duped everyone again maybe they used some software trickery...

tow pro is best and a neat fit, had it in mine now for 12 months no probs and easy to use.

between early 07 to mid 09 they used a different chain then went back to a jap chain, we just had ours done under good will for a 08 rx spain build
