Going to put in one or two voltmeters (not sure how many yet), i have a 09 and has factory dual batteries, not sure if just one will do but thought it might seeing they are wired together, can i connect it to the cig lighter or does it need to be direct to battery? Cheers

so i finally started to find the problem, pulled the front drive shaft (transfer to diff) out and it doesnt do it, uni's were flogged out so replaced both and put it back in, still has the vibration though, so im guessing the drive shaft is bent???

noticed the other day when i get to about 60-70 kph in 2h with hubs locked i get a very noticeable vibration, im thinking its a uni joint but not really sure, doesn't happen with the hubs unlocked, thoughts? cheers

nah, only really needs it if ur getting right up it or pulling heavy loads

its the body mounts, mine use to do it

i rang nisswreck a while ago and got a set of mounts off a pre 09 (jap built) d22 and there like new (obviously off a wrecked car), no clunking and only cost about $60

my body mounts showed up after 3 days which is really fast considering the distance

if your planning on doing this yourself theres an easier way which i did, my steel tray also came off a hilux and i had to cut the old mounts off and make new ones cut the old mounts off and put the tray on the nav put blocks of wood etc under the tray to get the height you want and get it...

hope this isnt a common issue, i just ordered a set of body mounts from them

mines 1850x1650 which is the same size length and width as a 09+ tub

This is what i have behind my rear seat and its awesome

First build the tray top then sit it where u want it (height etc) then make mounts (i used 6x50mm angle and 8mm flat bar) and tack them on, then take it off and weld them on properly, thats how i did it anyway

Yeah i got the scx10 with jeep body, wanted a honcho but couldnt find any that were as cheap as the jeep for some reason

I dont think it would, the box is a little deeper and the 10 inch only just fits, the 10 goes hard thou
