Its all coming together very nicely RLI, but after looking at the pics on the previous page i cant help but think you may need some more lighting up front, as i dont think you will be able to light up Tassie from coffs just yet!! But ya not far off!! lol :blingbling:

look forward to seeing more of the build. :redcool:

Regards,
Nathan.

I'm afraid we may have a slight misunderstanding.
Lighting up Tassie from Coffs is still not enough light.
You can never have enough light

G, day, you farken lounge lizards,

I have now installed a cargo barrier to the Patrol and repainted the farken roof rack. See photos attached.

Coffs Harbour ARB rang me this afternoon to advise me that my Outback storage drawers have arrived from Queensland. Hopefully, i will have these farken babies installed by next week.

Dip your lid Navarians

Hi RLI,
Your new baby's coming along nicely (the pootrol I mean) ;)
Did you have much of a wait for your drawers in Coffs? I have been looking at the outback drawers at ARB in Grafton and they reckon there is a huge wait on them at the moment.

G, day jofo81,

I ordered them last week and they arrived yesterday direct from Cairns.

G'day Trendsetters,

Here is the latest mods that i have just completed on the Patrol. I have just installed an Outback drawer system to the Patrol.

Before installing the new Outback storage drawer system, first you have to turn the cargo barrier rear floor straps upside down, so that the frame sits evenly on the floor.

IMG_1305.jpg

I then placed an outdoors table to help assist me with loading the frame into the back of the Patrol. Or get a mate to help you lift the fame into the Patrol

IMG_1309.jpg

With the frame in place, mark and drill 10 bolt holes and tighten the frame to the floor.

Make sure you use a level when tightening up the bolts. By doing this you help eliminate the drawers from binding or being difficult to open or close. If you over tighten one end you risk causing the drawer rail to become uneven.

With the frame in place, now you can fit the side panels and bottom drawer locking plate.

IMG_1319.jpg

Now slide the drawers into place. Remember to fit the 4 anti roll back spring latch locking tabs.

More to follow over!
