    Any difference in the years?

Just to correct a couple of minor errors. I have a 2008 D22, 2.5L engine, built in Japan, and has the bonnett scoop air intake. So they changes to the 2.5 engine in Japan before production was moved to Thailand. The Thai Navara are easy to identify as the tailgate handle is different. Had...

    how to clean AC condensate

I have a 2008 D22 and lately I have been noticing a water sloshing sound from behind the dash and am guessing the AC condensate drain must be blocked. The condensate drain coming through the fire wall has some moisture on it but I am not noticing any puddles of condensate under the car any...

    2.5 or 3.0?

The 2008 2.5L D22's were built in Japan, then Nissan switched over to Thailand for 2009 adn later D22 models.

    D22 ST-R as a commuter

I use my D22 to drive from home to the city every day, about a 35 min trip each way in peak hour traffic. Not as comfortable as the previous Camry, much better view, and a manual does not bother me. There are a couple of places where everything always slows right down and idling along in first...

    Australia today, where its headed.

To be pedantic Australia as a continent is heading 35 degrees east of north with a velocity of 67 mm/year! I am of Dutch/South African descent and moved here when I was 10 years old and nothing used to annoy me more than going to a bbq and listening to how good things used be back on the other...

The V6 Diesel D40 has arrived.

Can't blame Nissan for Australian Standards specifying a fuel consumption testing regime which can't be recreated in real life.

    Mickeys vs Bridgestone

I am in the similar position, the original Bridgestone D693 tyres nearly worn out and looking at options. Guy at work just replaced his old Coopers on his Patrol with Bridgestone D694LT tyres and he says they are fantastic compared to the Coopers.

    Cost for 2 year / 40k service

Spoke to the Nissan service centre today and feel like a rant. About to get the 2 year / 40,000 km service and was quoted $842! Air, oil, fuel filters need replacing. Engine, gearbox, diff oils changed, valves adjusted, and a few other things but seems excessive!

    Fraser Island Preparation Check-List

For Fraser all a standard Nav will go anywhere (we did) and all you need is let your tires down, make sure you have a snatchstrap, shovel, and a set of Maxtraxx would a good idea to. Standard shocks are crap though and suspension upgrade will make life much more comfortable.

Brisbane River topped at West End

Luckily my place is near the top of a hill but looks pretty grim for some people. Sympathies to those many people affected by the floods.

    Anyone got a Kluger?

Guy at work bought one 6 months ago for similar reasons (ie space for family) and he loves it. He spent months looking and test driving every possible vehicle and choose the Kluger in the end.

    trip for SE Qlders

We were up near Warwick and Stanthorpe last weekend and everything was extremely wet and all rivers/creeks were flooding so I doubt it will be much better before this weekend with the rain forecast. Luckily we got out just before Cunninghams Gap was closed!
